A Spooky Cat-venture

Explore the abandoned mansion and collect clues about the house's former owner to solve the mystery of the mansion while avoiding the ghost that is pursuing you throughout your quest.

Controls: 

Arrow keys - move player (left, right, up, down) 

Hold SHIFT (left or right) - Run 

SPACE - Complete dialogue or interact with certain objects

ENTER/RETURN - Move to the next dialogue

M - Mute/unmute music

Update (11/13/2023): 

The game has been updated! It now has: 

-Post-Jam version. The post-Jam version contains the following: house with walls and windows, more space to move around, and longer ending cutscene with different dialogues. 

-Bonus Features. You can explore both versions of the house with the lights turned on in this mode. You can read the developer's notes when you approach the open books.

-Menu screen. You can play the Jam and the Post-Jam versions of the game, and you can visit the Bonus Features section. 

Update (11/25/2023): 

-Music and sounds in the game are pre-loaded to prevent lag.

-Fixed a glitch where the player would still see the dialogue from the ending cutscenes in the Bonus Features section if they skipped the cutscenes by pressing the "e" key.
